PENGARUH VARIASI BENTUK LUBANG BAFFLE LINGKARAN TERHADAP UNJUK KERJA KOLEKTOR SURYA TIPE LINEAR PARABOLIC CONCENTRATING
Linear parabolic concentrator type of solar collector is a device that serves to collect solar energy and transfer that energy to work fluid. Baffle added to make heat transfer flow rate better. Baffle inside of the pipe with circle, square, and triangle holes. The aim of this research for determine effect hole shape variance of circle baffle concerning work linear parabolic concentrating type of solar collector.
The research was conducted in the Renewable Energy Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Departement at University of Mataram. The research observe inlet and oulet fluids temperatures, the outside surface tube temperature, reflector temperature, the ambient air temperature, the wind speed, radiation intensity of solar with 200 cc/min, 300 cc/min, 400 cc/min, 500 cc/min and 600 cc/min volume flow rate of water .
Average of heat transfer flow rate batter for baffle variance at triangle hole of baffle was 82,73 watt at 500 cc/min and non baffle was 42,09 watt at 400 cc/min. Average of efficiency heat transfer in pipe better for baffle variance at triangle hole of baffle was 47,00 % at 500 cc/min and non baffle was 24,20 % at 400 cc/min.
