PENGARUH KECEPATAN PADA PERMEABILITAS ALIRAN BIOFLUIDA PADA PERMUKAAN MEMBRAN PERMEABLE. Effect Of Velocity On The Permeability Of Biofluidic Flow On The Surface Of The Permeable Membrane
Chronic kidney failure is one of domestic health problems faced by Indonesia with the increasing number and with the high cost therapy. One of the therapy is with haemodialysis whose performance depends on dialyzer effectiveness. The effectiveness of dialyzer depends on the mass transfer through membrane. This research is aimed at knowing of mass current and transfer in the inside of dialyzer. Experiment was conducted in permeable membrane with dimension of 4 mm × 10 mm and the the thickness of 10 μm. The size of pore is 3 μm with the distance to the pale wall as much as 500 μm. The type bio fluid employed for the NaCl and NaOH current was 20, 30, and 50 mL/minute. The type of dialyse employed is aquades with apposite current against bio fluid. The experiment result shows that the greater the fluid flow rate, the greater the mass transfer, at 20, 30 flow rate and 50 mL / min, the diffusion results obtained for NaCl were 1.095, 3.877 and 12.72 mL / min, for each diffusion. While the diffusion for NaOH were 0.976, 2.76 and 11.27 mL / min, for each. The reduction of NaCl pressure with 20, 30 flow rate and 50 mL / min, was obtained 285, 404 and 663 Pa, for each. While the reduction pressure for NaOH was obtained 263, 372 and 627 Pa. For NaCl shear pressure data with 20, 30 flow rate and 50 mL / min, each was obtained 0.263, 0.372 and 0.610 Pa, for NaOH were 0.242, 0.343 and 0.577 Pa, for each. Also directed to Reynold NaCl numbers of the data with 20, 30 flow rate and 50 mL / min was obtained 81.91, 116.02 and 190.30, while Reynold number for NaOH that was obtained for each were 7.98, 113.04 and 189.90.
