KAJIAN EKSPERIMENTAL VARIASI PANJANG SALURAN AIR TERHADAP LAJU PERPINDAHAN KALOR YANG DITERIMA AIR PADA KOLEKTOR SURYA TIPE PELAT DATAR DENGAN ABSORBER PASIR
The Flat plate collector of solar is an apparatus that can be used to make heat water. The collector absorbs radiant energy from the sun to incrase the temperatur of water flowing in a collector pipe. In a lot of research on the type of flat plate solar collectors shows the performance of the solar collector is poor and still be improve. The performance of the collector dependent on many factors, that one of the size or shape of the components. the research will analyzing the extent changes of pipe length will change the rate of heat absorbed by the water .
The dimensions of the solar collector in this research were 510 mm × 280 mm ×98 mm, 30 mm thick sand as absorbers and 20 mm thick insulation wehre the side and 50 mm for the bottom. The observation to get date from 10.00 to 14:00 on clear sky conditions. The Variations of pipe length are 1.5 m , 2 m and 2.5 m . the each variation of the pipe length tested with three variations of the flow rate 200 cc / min , 250 cc / min and 300 cc / min.
The results of research showed increasing of heat value that received by the water with the increasing length of the water line. The risingof heat value received by water result of increasing water drains is different for each flow rate. Thetight flow rate will give the highest heat value absorbed by water. However, The changes of heat value received by the water is always to the change efficiency value of the solar collector.
