TO EMBED DIGITAL SIGNATURE BASED ON DIGITAL SIGNATURE STANDARD (DSS) SCHEME WITH MD6 HASH FUNCTION ON DIGITAL VIDEO
This research aim to determine how the MD6 hash function and DSS authenticate the originality of .AVI digital video, including video extraction, calculate hash value of video frames, signing the digital video, and verifying it by using DSS scheme. MD6 hash function will produce very unique message digest of extracted frame which is used to create the signature.
The result of this research show that every pixel of extracted frame is the input of MD6 hash fuction. MD6 transform the inputs with finite length into the output d with lenght 1 – 512 bit. Every single change of input will change the output of MD6, and also will chage the value of signature. Both of signing the digital signature and verifying it have displayed and successfully experimented.
