PENGARUH KONSENTRASI NaOH DAN KOH TERHADAP PENYERAPAN CO2 DAN H2S DALAM UPAYA PEMURNIAN BIOGAS DENGAN METODE BUBBLE PURIFICATION
Scarcity of raw material availability usual energy as fuel, both for household, industrial, transportation and other tools. Therefore do biogas purification to be used as an alternative energy fuel. Purification is done to increase the percentage of CH4 by way of decreased levels of CO2 and H2S in biogas.
Biogas purification of water using absorbent media and addition of alkaline compounds in the water with the method bubble piurfication. Bubble will be formed when the biogas through the water, even the turbulence on the bubble as a result of pengaflikasian stirrer in (Scrubbing Unit) can increase the shelf so that the maximum bubble trajectory absorb CO2 and H2S. In the study divariasiakan NaOH and KOH concentration is 1, 1.5 and 2%. The volume of water 25 L, debit biogas 1L / min (constant), and a constant rotation speed stirrer in the hope that the greater the concentration of CO2 and H2S reduction in the maximum. After purification in get results by using a stirrer for K 1% 0% CO2, 25 ppm H2S, CH4 58% CO2 remedy K 2% 0%, 13 ppm H2S and CH4. Without stirring for K 1% 0% CO2, 49 ppm H2S, CH4 58% for K 2% 0% CO2, H2S 15 ppm and 90% CH4.
