ANALISA PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SERBUK BATERAI (DRY CELL) BEKAS TERHADAP HASIL CORAN ALUMUNIUM SEKRAP DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN CETAKAN LOGAM
The research problem in this is whether the used battery powder can improve the result
of aluminum planner casting and determine the best composition of the powder used batteries
with a weight 0%,0,20%, 0,30% and 0,40%. The purpose of this study was to determine the
hardness, impact strength and struktur micro of aluminum planner and powder used battries.
This method used is laboratory experiment. The material used is aluminum planner and powder
used batteries. Aluminum planner merged with the highest temperature 824o
C by using the
metal mold then make specimen. The result show that the increasing of powder used battety
influence the results castings. (a) The additions powder used batteries 0% is 46,422 HVN;
0,20% is 50,683 HVN; 0,30% is 53,870 HVN and 0,40% weight 46,875 HVN; (b) The impact
price (HI) using method charpy increasethe powder used batteries 0% is 0,080 J/mm2
; 0,20% is
0,078 J/mm2
; 0,30% is 0,075 J/mm2
and 0,40% is 0,079 J/mm2
. The conclutions of this research
is the powder used battery capable of the improving the result of aluminum casting planner
impact price and able to reduce the number of voids on castings is the best the variation 0,30%
the weight of powder used betteries.
