Drying is one way of post-harvest handling to extend the shelf life, especially of agricultural crops. In general, post-harvest drying is only done naturally by drying using heat from solar energy or commonly called conventional drying. In the research on the grain drying process using a fluidized bed drying method in which the drying device was modified by the addition of heat exchanger pipes. The purpose of this study was to find the variation of temperature and mass of the best ingredients in the use of heat drying. The Indonesian government has carried out SNI provisions for milling the maximum water content in the material, which is 14%, in this study the grain used is the newly harvested grain where the water content is 20% with a tolerance of ± 1. The air temperature variations in this study were used 55 ° C, 60 ° C and 65 ° C with a mass of 0.4 kg, 0.6 kg, 0.8 kg. From variations in air temperature and mass of material, the higher the air temperature when drying, the faster, and the highest heat loss occurs at the highest temperature and mass, because the air velocity is not able to circulate properly
