MONITORING PING REPLY PADA SAAT KEGIATAN INSTALASI JARINGAN ANTENA MENGGUNAKAN SMS GATEWAY
Network installation and monitoring with an antenna initially requires 2 or more technicians at the same time. The antenna used is a WiMAX antenna under the HiMAX SS-331 brand . The installed antenna is at a height, as in the tower, and requires 2 technicians who work as network condition monitoring ( PING REPLY ) and as an antenna installer at height. Desktop application designed using the Java language with Netbeans software, and the SMS Gateway System designed with the Gammu Engine, combined with the Modem Server as an SMS interface. This study aims to determine the condition of the network in good condition or connected ( PING REPLY ) when the network installation uses the SMS Gateway System , and can facilitate workers in working independently. The results achieved in this study were, able to provide information on PING REPLY antenna via SMS. The PING REPLY data obtained is the Reply From data 192.168.1.1; bytes = 32 time = 1ms TTL = 64 and data PING Stati sti cs with Packet data Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss ). The condition of the antenna is in default condition or good condition.
