UNJUK KERJA RUANG PENDINGIN TERMOELEKTRIK DENGAN VARIASI VOLUME RUANG PENDINGIN
Today's technology is growing rapidly along with the level of human needs in everyday life. This encourages industry and scientists to create new innovations. One of the developing technologies is refrigeration devices such as refrigerators. But the refrigerator has a weakness, which is if the refrigerator contains CFC (Cloro Floro Carbon). Therefore, it is necessary to find new innovations in the form of environmentally friendly refrigerators, namely thermoelectric refrigerators. This research was carried out with 3 cooling box es with different volume variations and a load of 6000 ml of water and with one thermoelectric module TEC225408. The electric power used is around 35 W. Retrieving data using NI DAQ data logger MX 9714 connected to the PC using LabView program. The variable that researched were the lowest temperature that could be achieved and the COP produced by each box. Research shows that small-sized boxes produce refrigerator room temperature 23.74 ° C and COP of 0.093, the medium-sized box causes the box tamperature of 24.31 ° C and the COP of 0.089, while the large box results in the room temperature of 24.49 ° C and COP 0.080. In this study the influence of the environmental temperature plays a role because the higher the ambient temperature affects the cooler box tempeature.
