Analisa Variasi Panjang Lintasan Medan Magnet Alat Magnetisasi Bahan Bakar Terhadap Emisi Gas Buang Dan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Motor Bensin 4 Langkah 1 Silinder
The use of magnetic materials in the fuel pipe for the process of forming fuel so that pertamax fuel is easier to bind oxygen during the process and reduce the level of exhaust emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) which do not unburning processes. In this research using neodymium magnets with variations in the number of magnets, namely 12 magnets, 18 magnets and 24 magnets and variations in the length of the magnetic field each 245 mm, 285 mm and 325 mm to determine the effect of magnetic field to exhaust gas and fuel consumption on Honda Vario 110cc PGM-FI which decides on the engine speed that is at 1500 rpm, 3000 rpm, 4500 rpm and 6000 rpm. Use of the Hanatech Ultra 4/5 Gas Analyzer to produce gas emissions produced. When testing fuel consumption using a burette and stopwatch to find out fuel consumption while working. The results showed that variations in the number of 18 magnets with 325 mm magnetic field trajectory decreased the better exhaust emissions. The percentage reduction in the level of exhaust emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) is 85.29% and 74.43% at 6000 rpm respectively. The use of magnetic fields cannot reduce fuel consumption because the injection system of mixed air and fuel is regulated by EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) and ECU (Engine Control Unit) to get the ideal mixture.
