Klasifikasi Retakan (Crack) pada Bangunan Akibat Gempa Menggunakan Fitur Zoning, Momen Invarian, dan Quadratic Discriminant Analysis
Abstract - Classification of cracks in building affected by natural disaster (for the example earthquakes) can be done manually by analyzing walls, pole, floors, or beams based by width of the cracks, depth level of the cracks, and length of the cracks using sense of sight. Based on knowledge and certain techniques we could classfy the category of the cracks demage level correctly. However there are deficiencies using this method because this method need great knowledge and experience to get the correct conclusion of cracks demage level category. In the other word, only buildings expert can do the activity of buildings assessment. While at the earthquakes affected area, not everyone has the same knowledge and experience as expert. So, to help society in the affected area to solve that problem, in this study will develop classification model of cracks using image processing approaches, image analysis, and pattern recognition concept that can classify the cracks in building into light, medium, or heavy using zoning and invariant moment extraction feature method, and quadratic discriminant analysis classification method. Based on the research that has been done, the accuracy obtained to classify the cracks reach until 80%.
