Optimasi Protokol Routing ZRP Menggunakan PA-SHORT untuk Mengurangi Jumlah Hop Pada Suatu Rute di Jaringan Manet
Abstract – MANET is a network consisting of dynamic nodes that move freely, when a route has been found that a broken link often occurs due to high mobility. ZRP is a hybrid routing protocol. The working principle of ZRP is that each node will create a zone so that it can create a multi-hop path, if the length of the number of hops can cause a high delay and decrease in the value of throughput. To overcome this problem, an algorithm is needed that can reduce the number of hops by finding the shortcut path.The algorithm that is suitable for use is the PA-SHORT algorithm which is applied to the framework of the ZRP routing protocol to optimize the main route by reducing the number of hops. In this study, the authors conducted 5 experiments with which resulted in an increase in throughput on PASHORTZRP in the area of 1000×1000 m2 of 52.081 % for node 20, average end-to-end delay in PASHORT-ZRP contains a decrease of 0.737 % for node 20 in area 500×500 m2, and packet delivery ratio on PASHORZRP found an increase of 64.931% for node 20 in the area of 500×500 m2. in the 1000×1000 m2 area the results of routing overhead on PASHORT-ZRP contain a decrease of 36,815 % for node 20.
