PENGARUH JARAK ANTAR PLATE PADA PERMEABILITAS ALIRAN BIOFLUIDA PADA PERMUKAAN MEMBRAN PERMEABLE. Effect Of Distance Between Plates On The Permeability Of Biofluida Flow On The Surface Of Permeable Membrane
Chronic kidney failure is one of domestic health problems faced by Indonesia with the increasing number and with the high cost therapy. One of the therapy is with haemodialysis whose performance depends on dialyzer effectiveness. The effectiveness of dialyzer depends on the mass transfer through membrane. This research is aimed to know the influence of distance to the plate in di diffusion NaCl and ion OH. experiment was conducted in permeable membrane with dimension of 4 mm × 10 mm and the the thickness of 10 μm. The size of pore is 3 μm with the distance to the pale wall as much as 200, 300 and 500 μm. The type bio fluid employed for the NaCl and NaOH current was 20 mL/minute. The experiment showed that the bigger the distance to the plate, the small the transfer of mass. In the distance to the plate of 200, 300 and 500 µm, the diffusion was subsequently 5.05, 2.52, 1.5 mL/minute for concentration NaCl and 4.4, 1.84, 0.92 mL/menit for ion OH-. In the distance to the plate of 200, 300 and 500 µm, the pressure drop on membrane was subsequently 10303, 2155, 261 Pa for concentration NaCl and 9527, 1876, 241 Pa for ion OH-. While the pressure drop in pore was subsequently 3472, 2029, 261 Pa pada concentration NaCl and 2027, 1680, 160 Pa for ion OH-. In the distance to the plate of 200, 300 and 500 µm, the Reynold number on membrane was subsequently 7.55, 7.54, 7.49 for concentration NaCl and 7.5, 7.47, 7.41 for ion OH-, the. While the Reynold number in pore was subsequently 2.19x10-4, 1.36x10-4, 2.06x10-5 for concentration NaCl and 1.37x10-4, 1.14x10-4, 1.09x10-6 for ion OH-.
