Boiler / Boiler unit 2 at PLTU PT. LED functions as a producer of steam to turn turbines so that it can be used to generate electricity through electricity generators. Unit 2 boilers operate from 2017. These boilers have only been working for 32 months so that their performance has decreased slightly. For this reason, an analysis study was carried out by calculating input - output in order to find out the magnitude of the decline in performance and to find out the cause of the decline in performance. Based on data and analysis, it is known that boiler performance at the time of commissioning was 63%, and experienced a very small decrease in performance on October 1 at 08:00 at 61%, at 13:00 at 62% and at 19 : 00 at 61%. To produce the same electric power (25 MW), the current condition has decreased performance. Fouling, slangging, combustion temperature, boiler feed water, blowdown, combustion air capacity, type of coal used, and the use of condensate are factors that affect the efficiency of the boiler. Therefore it is necessary to check and routine maintenance of all components of the plant to maintain stable performance and produce as much electricity as possible.
