ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK LIMBAH KULIT PISANG SEBAGAI BAHAN ALTERNATIF PENGGANTI PASTA BATU BATERAI
Energy has become an important component of human life, fossil energy reserves
are currently depleting so research is needed specifically to optimize alternative energy
sources. In this study conducted an experimental test the utilization of banana peel paste
replacement on a battery stone, using 30 used batteries Type D 1.5 V as samples and 3 types
of banana peels, namely Kepok banana, Susu banana and Mas banana. Each banana paste is
tested for voltage, current and power. Average voltage, current and maximum power
produced by Kepok banana peel paste, Banana milk and Mas banana, respectively: 1.24 V,
68 mA, 93.84 mW; 1.06 V, 53 mA, 59.36 mW; 1.18 V, 61 mA, 84.18 mW. The highest stress is
produced by Kepok Banana peel paste because Kepok Banana peel has a higher pH (pH 8)
than other banana peels. Battery voltage, current and power will decrease with time, due to
spontaneous discharge (Self discharge).
