Until today's mass AC (air conditioner) is only used as a tool air conditioning only when there is energy wasted from the condenser that can be utilized again. Related to this is made of clothes dryer by utilizing the heat exhaust from the condenser as a heat source by varying the type of refrigrant used in the AC machine to analyze the performance of the rate of clothes dryer using heat Condenser Exhaust. The results of the drying process are the drying rate, the rate of air mass flow, the energy rate that enters the dryer cabinet and the efficiency of drying. Testing conducted with three types of refrigrant namely R-22, R-32, and R-410a and at each refrigrant will be loaded with the drying of 15 pieces of clothing. From the research results obtained the highest drying rate gained when using the Refrigrant R-32 with an average of 0.022 kg/min with a drying time of 60 minutes and the drying efficiency of 23.016% while the highest drying efficiency obtained by refrigrant R-22 with 35.700% with a drying rate of only 0.018 kg/min and the drying time reaches 75 minutes.
