PENGARUH TEMPERATUR DIGESTER YANG DIPERTAHANKAN DALAM KONDISI STABIL TERHADAP KUALITAS DAN KUANTITAS BIOGAS YANG DIHASILKAN DARI KOTORAN SAPI
In the current era of modern globalization, the
search for, development and dissemination of
environmentally friendly alternative energy becomes
very important for the issue of energy availability which
is increasingly depleting. These problems can be
overcome if they do not depend on fossil fuels and use
alternative energy that is environmentally friendly,
inexpensive, easily obtained and renewable. One of the
renewable and alternative energy sources is biogas.
Biogas is one of the renewable energy generation that
can be obtained from livestock waste and market waste
through aerobic fermentation (Widyastuti, 2013).
In this study, the researchers tried to focus on
the temperature of the digester. some said that biogas
that is processed with thermophilic temperatures is
better than which is processed with mesophilic
temperatures. But generaly, some of research which
related to this is done with environmental temperature
conditions, where the ambient temperature is still not
fixed or changing conditions. Then there was the initial
suspicion that the temperature that was maintained
constant would affect the quality and quantity of biogas
produced. So , what researchers try to study is about the
maintain of temperature of the digester in one condition,
with variations of 45 o, 55 o and 65 o.
This report is written with two methods. First ,
the literature study related to the topic and writings which
explain theory pertaining to the matter discussed.
Second, study experiment, conducting a and research
directly in the laboratory to get data desired.
