The presences system of SMK Perhotelan 45
Mataram is still conventional, allowing students to falsify
sick letters. Their parents may think that their child goes for
school but in reality they are sending letters by imitating
parents signatures. With the current technological
developments, problems can be solved by creating an
attendance information system and reporting absence to
parents using the Telegram application. The Telegram app
provides a bot feature that can be used as a robot to report
attendance and absence to their parents. This research using
the Waterfall method. Testing on the attendance
information system runs by successful using black box
testing. While test results are based on question on mobilebased reporting systems are 3.51% answered disagree,
12.28% answered quite concur, 47.37% answered agree and
as much as 36.84% answered strongly agree.
